Everyone is eagerly waiting for this lovely moment after last pomp carnival of our Ganeshotsav in 2019. Now, it's time to celebrate this festival yet again in the glorious way. Very soon we will welcome our Mahaganapati & rejoice the 68th Ganeshotsav from 31st Aug 2022 to 4th Sept 2022 at the usual venue. In the year 2019, around 65,000 sevas were performed that included nearly 9000 Tulabhars. Our website www.gsbsevamandal.org enables to Donate & do Pooja bookings. Our dedicated trained volunteers can do the same for you using Volunteer app. This year, we are also providing a Devotee app, downloadable from Playstore, using it, the devotees can directly do their bookings. In order to "Go Green", hardcopy receipts are minimized and donors will get e-receipts. The e-receipt will have a QR code, which the devotee has to display at the entrance while coming for darshan and to avail the Prasadam.
G S B Seva Mandal has allegiance to Dharmapeetha Shri Kashi Math Samsthan, Varanasi. The name G S B Seva Mandal is known globally only because of our Ganeshotsav and of course due to blessings of our Dharma Gurus, His Holiness Shrimad Sudhindra Teertha Swamiji and our present Mathadhipati His Holiness Shrimad Samyamindra Teertha Swamiji.
G S B Seva Mandal, established in 1951, is a non-profit consortium, registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. We propose to build a 100 bed Hospital at Versave Mira — Bhayandar. The filling of the land and boundary walls have been completed. This hospital would be a world class hospital with all modern amenities for the society at an affordable cost. We request the devotees to come forward and donate generously for this project which can help us to expedite the work.
During Covid 19 pandemic, under the guidance of our Swamiji, a "Santusht Anna Dana Seva" for the patient's relatives at various Hospitals in the heart of Mumbai & Thane was started. Even now, we are doing this activity twice every month on the Chaturthi days. Free vaccination camps for the needy and poor were carried out by us at various centers / institutes of G S B in Mumbai, Palghar & Thane districts. Our welfare centre, viz. Shree Guru Ganesh Prasad, was used to prepare food packets that were distributed to the underprivileged and poor during covid times. We also distributed the grocery items during this crucial period. In addition to this, during floods in Konkan, GSB Seva Mandal took initiative to provide food, clothing, etc. in flood affected areas of Mahad & Chiplun in Konkan region. We have also been carrying out social activities like Education & Medical assistance, Blood Donation camps, Samuhik Upanayan, Adhyatmik Shibir, Career Guidance to the youth, etc. All this would not have been possible without the blessings from our Dharma Guru.
We are confident that our prayers would be heard and answered by our Mahaganapati and we all would be relieved from this Covid 19 pandemic to lead a Healthy, Peaceful and Stress free life ahead.
