Shree Ganeshotsav Celebrations are for 5 days (29th August 2014 to 2nd September 2014)

What are the Darshan & Prasad timings?

A:

Prasad will be distributed from 8.00 AM to 11.00 PM on first four days & on last day from 8.00 AM to 3.30 PM

Q:

What are the Pooja booking counter timings?

A:

Pooja / Seva booking counter will be open from 7.00 AM to 10.30 PM on first four days & on last day from 7.00 AM to 3.00 PM

Q:

Can we offer any items to the Lord?

A:

Due to security reasons, offering of coconuts, Prasad, Sweets, Flowers etc. Brought from outside are not allowed.

Q:

Is it necessary to give address?

A:

Provide full postal address along with conatct numbers so that Prasad & other communications can reach you.(G S B Seva mandal has all the rights to use contact details of sevadars for religious purposes.)

Q:

How many Sevas can be booked in one name?

A:

As many as one likes to. There is no limit but only one Seva / Pooja / Donation / Advertisement can be booked per internet form or manual receipt. You need to fill the form again even if the details are same.

What is the procedure to book a seva / Pooja / Donation via internet?

A:

Please follow the Guide cum Manual of booking a seva / Pooja / Donation via internet for detailed description.

After entering all the relevant data in the form click on submit & then enter your credit or debit card details and click on pay. A acknowledgment will be generated & displayed on the screen giving all the booking details. Take printout or note down the details. Show this printout or details at the INTERNET COUNTER outside main gate with photo id on the day of your seva. Your official receipt cum Prasadm slip will be issued to you.

Which mode of payment is accepted?

A:

You can pay by cash / Cheque / Demand Draft / Credit / Debit Card.

What is the meaning of G.S.B.?

A:

Goud Saraswat Brahmins(G.S.B.) are a Hindu Brahmin community in India and a part of the larger Saraswat Brahmin community. We are popularly referred to as G.S.B.s. We are Konkani people and primarily speak Konkani as our mother tongue.

Q:

Internet booking, I got sms / email from my banker but no confirmation from G S B Seva Mandal?

A:

A email is sent to your registered email id giving the status & transaction details as acknowledgment. Please also check your Spam or Junk boxes. If you haven’t received any mail from us but sms / email from your banker giving details of amount debited to your account then please send us the details such as date of booking, date of seva, amount, Name of the sevadar etc to gsb_sevamandal@ymail.com with subject line reading “Non receipt of acknowledgment details”

Q:

Can i collect my Internet booking seva receipt earlier?

A:

No. You have to collect your official receipt on the day of your seva.

Q:

I didn’t get any confirmation email or sms neither from Seva Mandal nor my bank?

A:

We send a auto generated email irrespective of successful transaction or not. Please check your Spam / junk folder also. Wait for some time, consult your banker for the status of the transaction before trying again.

Q:

Can I get the refund?

A:

Payment made once will not be refunded.

Q:

I can’t open or see the form properly?

A:

Please use browser Goggle Chrome or Mozilla Fire Fox. Clear your browser history & delete cookies. Our web site is best viewed with screen resolution set to 1024 x 768 or higher.

I want to change the name of the Sevadar?

A:

Can I pay by NEFT?

A:

Please note that, once you have transferred via NEFT write a email to us (gsb_sevamandal@yahoo.co.in) with subject line reading “NEFT for Shree Ganeshotsav” giving UTR No., Your Full Name, Address, Contact no.s, Seva & date of seva. If your NET date is on or before 15th August 2014 midnight, we will post or courier your receipt cum Prasadam Slip cum entry pass to your address. NEFT done after 15th August midnight have to collect their receipts from INTERNET COUNTER outside main gate on the day (7 am to 10.30 pm) of their seva by showing the acknowledgment along with photo ID. (Pan card or Driving License or Election Id card etc) Receipt will be generated for only those NEFT transfers whose details are emailed to us.
